alast.fm player gone open source under GPLv3!
View → Show commentsHi there!
For those of you who didn’t noticed, I’ve uploaded a brand new aLastFM player version to the Android Market! Not a big update: few bugfixes, and the long-awaited feature of muting playback when someone calls you! (Check it out in the preferences: it is disabled by default). Also the player name is now correctly displayed in your last.fm profile (it is not seen as windows media player anymore).
Any feedback is still welcome at oleg@ajaxie.com!

I’ve just uploaded first update to our app (version 0.8.4) to the android market. It won’t bring in any new features, but fixes few important bugs, and should increase overall responsiveness of the aLastFM Player interface.
Next stop is adding ability to listen not only to artist/tag radio stations, but all other stations available on last.fm, like recommendations radio, loved tracks and others!
As for core functionality, my nearest plan is to get rid of nasty long pauses between tracks.
If there exist other features which you miss in aLastFM player, please leave comment here or email me at oleg@ajaxie.com — I’m very interested in your feedback!
